Description
You receive the following error message when installing Cora SeQuence.
Cause
During Cora SeQuence installation, you selected to store database files in a drive for which the installing server does not have a matching drive letter. This is a known limitation of InstallShield.
Affected Versions
All versions.
Solution
There are two solutions to this issue.
Solution 1
Create a network drive with the same letter as the drive in which you are installing the Cora SeQuence database files on your SQL server, and map it to the root of that drive on the SQL server.
Example:
If you are installing the database files on your SQL server's H: drive, map a network drive called H: to H$ of your SQL server.
Solution 2
Use scripts to install the database, not the Cora SeQuence installer.
