Error Message When You Create or Edit a Schema in a REST Consumer

Description

When you create or edit a schema in a REST Consumer Activity, you receive the following error message.

“…RadAsyncUpload could not create App_Data folder…”

Cause

Cora SeQuence users or services do not have sufficient permission to create folders or files to the App_Data main folder.

Affected Versions

8.3 and later.

Solution

  1. Grant full permissions to the iis_users group contained in the application pool user to the folder in the following path.
    C:\inetpub\wwwroot\[administration site folder name]\Administration\
  2. Add the following folders to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\[administration site folder name]\Administration\.
    • App_Data
    • App_Data\RadUploadTemp
