Process Wall is Replaced with Audit Log

Description

On upgrading to Cora Orchestration V10.7 from any previous version, you see Audit Log instead of the Process Wall option in the case details page.

Cause

The Process Wall is replaced with Audit Log.

Affected versions

All versions earlier than V10.7.

Key differences

• The events are added to the Audit Log as a static text.
  • Users and activities are mentioned by the user display name and activity alias properties respectively.
  • Once an event is logged in the Audit Log its text doesn’t change. Not even if the user display name or activity alias gets updated later.
• System events:
  • System events are logged only in English. Changing the portal language doesn't change the language of the events.
  • System events now include general case actions like allocate and assign.
• Support for custom events:
  • Process specific events can be logged by using the built-in command activity.
  • Custom events can be logged in any language.
• Technical changes:
  • The column [tblLog].[fldArguments] was removed.
  • The file “~\Shared Resources\WorkflowLog.config” was removed.
