Cora SeQuence 8.8.4 Release Notes

This is an update for Cora SeQuence V8.8. This update includes a new feature and resolved issues.

  • Azure Service Bus connections: You can now define the Azure Service Bus connectivity type and transport type.

Limitation

The In-Process Consumer does not support the "IsOneWay" property on request bindings.

Update steps

Updating from V8.8.3

  1. Back up your Cora SeQuence database. 
  2. Back up the following files: 
    • In the Administration site:
      • bin\PNMsoft.Rad.Web.UI.v8.dll
      • bin\PNMsoft.Sequence.Analytics.Design.dll
      • bin\PNMsoft.Sequence.Design.dll
      • bin\PNMsoft.Sequence.Files.Data.Design.dll
      • bin\PNMsoft.Sequence.Forms.Design.dll
      • bin\PNMsoft.Sequence.Monitoring.dll
      • bin\PNMsoft.Sequence.Studio.dll
      • GAC\PNMsoft.Sequence.Jobs.AzureServiceBus.dll
    • In the Flowtime site:
      • bin\PNMsoft.Rad.Web.UI.v8.dll
      • bin\PNMsoft.Sequence.Monitoring.dll
    • All servers, in the GAC folder: 
      • PNMsoft.Sequence.Jobs.AzureServiceBus.dll

NOTE
Make sure that you save the backed up files in a different folder, such as the desktop.

  1. Download the ZIP file.
  2. Make sure the following files and folders are in the same level on the server.
    • Engine
    • SequencePatch.xml
    • SequencePatcher.ps1
  3. RunSequencePatcher.ps1 file as Administrator on all Cora SeQuence servers.
    1. Right clickSequencePatcher.ps1 , and then select Run with PowerShell.
  4. Open the DB Scripts folder, and run the following script on your Cora SeQuence database: 
    • PatchSynchronization_Data.sql

Rollback steps 

  1. Restore the Cora SeQuence database to previous state.
  2. Restore the backed up files.

NOTE
If you are running a Cora SeQuence version earlier than V8.8.3, you need to upgrade to V8.8.3 before you install V8.8.4.
