This is an update for Cora SeQuence V8.4.9, which includes the fix detailed below.
Resolved issue
Fault in the thread-safety caching of the Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS) caused a deadlock when the cache buffer exceeded the configured threshold.
Update steps
Updating from V8.4.9
- Back up your Cora SeQuence database.
- Back up the following files:
- Administration site's bin folder:
PNMsoft.Sequence.Studio.dll
- All servers, in the GAC folder:
PNMsoft.Sequence.Runtime.dll
- Administration site's bin folder:
- Download the ZIP file.
- Open the DB Scripts folder, and run the
PatchSynchronization_Data.sql
script on your Cora SeQuence database. - Make sure the following files and folders are in the same level on the server.

SequencePatch.xml
SequencePatcher.ps1
- Run
SequencePatcher.ps1
file as Administrator on all Cora SeQuence servers.- Right click
SequencePatcher.ps1
, and then select Run with PowerShell.
- Right click
Rollback Steps
- Restore the Cora SeQuence database to previous state.
- Restore the backed up DLL files.
NOTE: If you are running a Cora SeQuence version earlier than V8.4.9, you need to install V8.4.9 before you install V8.4.9.1.
